Lamp

This is a lamp I made from a few parts found at antique stores and other reuse stores. Everything used is from between 1910-1920 (except the wiring and lamp shade, which I intend to make a new shade when I have time). The light is controlled by a dimmer switch attached to the main arm on the winder. It turns very smooth and stays in place when half on which took a lot work on the insides to get that to work.

Swallows Collaboration

My brother and I did this together. Frank Oil painted the the 3 swallows in color and some of the flying ones. I stenciled the barn, tree branch, and some fly swallows. I think the two styles blended very well. The frame is made from the cedar siding of an old barn around our area. Click on images to see larger.

Painted area is almost 9' x 1'
